Mae Foals wedi cyhoeddi mai nhw fydd y prif berfformwyr ym Mharc Singleton Abertawe nos Wener 14 Awst 2021!
O berfformio mewn partïon tŷ anhrefnus yn eu dinas enedigol yn Rhydychen i ddod yn brif sêr gwyliau cerddorol ar draws Ewrop, mae llwybr y Foals wedi bod yn rhyfeddol. Maen nhw wedi ennill clod mawr (gan ennill Gwobr NME a Gwobr Q, ynghyd ag enwebiadau ar gyfer gwobr Mercury Prize, Ivor Novello a’r BRIT Awards) ynghyd ag ennill teyrngarwch eu cefnogwyr. Ac er bod y rhan fwyaf o’u cyfoedion wedi methu, mae Foals yn dal i gyrraedd y brig.
Rhyddhawyd albwm diweddaraf Foals, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 ar 18 Hydref 2019 ac fe’i hystyrir yn ail hanner prosiect dwy ran, wedi’i hategu gan eu pumed albwm stiwdio yn olynol Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1, a ryddhawyd ar 8 Mawrth 2019. Tynnwyd llun clawr yr albwm gan ffotograffydd enwog y National Geographic, Maggie Steber, a rhagflaenwyd hon gan dair sengl; “Black Bull”, “The Runner”, ac “Into the Surf”. Hon oedd albwm gyntaf y band i gyrraedd Rhif 1 ar Siart Albymau’r DU.
Gofynion mynediad i gyngherddau COVID-19
Robert Francis-Davies, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Investment, Regeneration and Tourism, said:
“Last week we were pleased to announce that Olly Murs is to play at Singleton Park on Saturday 15 August and today’s announcement that we will once again be working with The DEPOT to bring Foals to Swansea on 14 August is great news.
We are doing our best to ensure that Swansea offers a really exciting events programme for next year and having these two great acts as a part of that, is a very welcome addition. This will provide a boost for our residents, tourism businesses and visitors to Swansea.
We will of course ensure that any programme of activities is undertaken in accordance with the Government guidelines at that time; the safety of our residents, staff, partners and visitors is paramount. However, this is positive and encouraging news and we look forward to welcoming Foals to singleton Park in 2021.”
Foals are being brought to the city by DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of the DEPOT brand.
