The Malthouse Restaurant

The Malthouse Bar & Restaurant is the latest venture by Gower Brewery Co. Whilst the brewery is based on the Crofty Industrial Estate in Penclawdd, North Gower, it’s great for us to be part of an iconic venue in Swansea itself.

The Malthouse Restaurant

The inspiration behind “The Malthouse” stems back to pre-1883. In days gone by there was previously a brewery & malthouse in exactly the same place where the Grand Theatre stands now.
We felt this was the perfect way to tie history in with the new venture.

You can enjoy some delicious homecooked food by our passionate chefs who even tie in our beers with the menu! Such as Gower Gold battered Hake, Gower Power Burger or Pressed Pork Belly with Smugglers cider jus so customers can indulge their love of food with their love of beer.

Plus a full selection of the Gower Brewery’s most loved handcrafted ales of the highest standards which are brewed using traditional methods and only the finest quality ingredients.

Due to COVID restrictions, the Malthouse is operating under a limited capacity and reduced offering. Please keep an eye on our social media for exciting bar updates and menu announcements.
The Malthouse is open on show nights only from 5:30pm - 10:30pm
